As a native New Yorker, Scott can claim family roots in the city as far back as 1907. He loves knowing as much about his hometown as possible. Whether it’s the history of a neighborhood or the best place for lunch, Scott prides himself on being able to name a feature or virtue of almost any intersection in Manhattan. He's also a longtime Kips Bay resident, having grown up here and attended local schools, and moved back when it came time to raise a family.
Scott started his real estate career at a young age helping his friend’s father rent apartments in converted tenement buildings in the East Village. With a strong eye for design, Scott began remodeling apartments in lower Manhattan. This renovation side-hustle quickly turned into the founding of a construction company that within only a few years was renovating luxury apartments and townhouses across the city.
Eventually Scott’s passion for technology and marketing found him dusting off his overalls for a career in media. There his enthusiasm and creativity was well received and it didn't take Scott long to rise to the top of his favorite brand as Technology Director of WIRED Magazine. Perpetually curious and constantly challenging himself, Scott continued his dynamic work for clients on the agency side building brands and ultimately following his heart and love of food back to Condé Nast where he built the digital practice for both Bon Appétit and Epicurious.
Today armed with over 20 years of sales and digital marketing experience, Scott is again living his first passion — helping people find their place in the city and helping them discover what it means to be a New Yorker.
