After many years as a fine arts and editorial photographer, with group shows in NYC and abroad, and publications including the New York Times, she decided to lend her visual eye to real estate. Her love of urban setting and an admiration for architecture inspired her entry into real estate. She bends her knowledge of New York's vital real estate market and the city's rich architectural history to create a high level of expertise for sellers, buyers and renter. After years of using New York City as "stage" for her subject matter, Barbara can now give her clients an insider's view of their favorite neighborhoods.
A graduate of the University of California, with a B.A in Interdisciplinary Arts Barbara is very passionate about preserving the unique character of her city, and as a volunteer for the Brooklyn Heights Association, she lends her time to fund raising and making others aware of the beautifully preserved architectural gems located in this vibrant, historical, livable neighborhood. Coupled with her arts background, Barbara has also taught school for the New York Board of Education.
She is a careful listener and an exhaustive researcher who has a firm command of the relevant facts. Barbara is an astute problem solver who makes the real estate experience both enjoyable and rewarding. When not hard at work, Barbara partakes in all the city has to offer, from photographing every nook and cranny to visiting museums and socializing with friends.
