Ronny Cohen
Having honed her skills as a leading art critic, and consultant to galleries, collectors and artists in the New York art world, Ronny Cohen brings to New York real estate a sophisticated eye for space plus a keen understanding of the dynamics between price and value. Both rental and sales clients who have worked with Ronny continually praise her ability to listen and to get to the very essence of what they want and need. As a native and lifelong New Yorker, she has a wide-ranging knowledge of the city. . Ronny was raised in Northern Manhattan and schooled on the Upper East Side where she still resides. Plus she has become intimately familiar with the changing developments of a number of neighborhoods in which the art community has played a leading role--including the East Village, SoHo, Tribeca, Chelsea, Clinton, DUMBO and Williamsburg in Brooklyn, and Long Island City, Queens.
A graduate of Finch College with M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts, N.Y.U. and a Fulbright scholar, Ronny has published voluminously on 20th century and contemporary art, and her writings have appeared in many leading art magazines, from Artforum and Art in America to ARTnews. She has additionally enjoyed a renowned reputation as an independent curator in the art field.
